L2 and IVC Media announced today the launch of VoterCount.ai (“Voter Count”), a conversational AI agent that lets users ask questions about L2’s national voter file in plain English and get answers in seconds. Voter Count is the only AI tool directly connected to a national voter file, with more than 217 million registered voters.

Until now, a question like “How many registered independents under 35 live in this congressional district, and how many voted in the last two primaries?” typically meant a data vendor contract, an analyst who writes database queries, and patience. With Voter Count, users type the question and receive aggregate counts and breakdowns by geography, party registration, demographics, and vote history.

Voter Count’s Professional plan also includes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. MCP is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to outside data sources. With it, subscribers can bring voter file answers into ChatGPT, Claude, and other MCP-compatible platforms, so the numbers in their AI workflows come from the voter file itself rather than from a model’s general training or unverified web content.

Voter Count is built for campaign staff, consultants, journalists, pollsters, researchers, and advocacy organizations who need reliable voter data without a technical team. Answers are provided in aggregate only. The product does not return individual voter records, personally identifiable information, or bulk exports, and queries run against L2 data in a secure environment that excludes personal information.
