New capability combines work and business data for on-demand AI answers about capacity, productivity and performance

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — ActivTrak today introduced ActivTrak MCP, a new capability that brings work intelligence directly into the AI platforms, applications and workflows organizations already use.

That intelligence fills a gap in the business data available to AI. Business systems capture outcomes such as deals closed, tickets resolved and projects delivered, but provide limited visibility into the work behind them: where time went, how capacity was used and which work patterns or technology choices contributed to performance.

Built on Model Context Protocol, ActivTrak MCP enables users to combine ActivTrak’s behavioral work data with CRM, HRIS, ticketing and other connected business data to understand what’s driving those outcomes and inform staffing, technology investment and operational decisions. Questions that once required dashboard navigation, manual exports or lengthy custom report building can now be answered directly within their AI.

People can query that data directly, or AI agents can automate the analysis and surface insights for decision makers to act on.
