Through the Goals for Growth initiative, Voya Financial and Boston Legacy FC donated $50,000 to Junior Achievement of Greater Boston to support financial literacy, career readiness and entrepreneurship programs for local youth.
“‘Goals for Growth’ shows what’s possible when a partnership is built around a shared purpose,” said Jay Kaduson, CEO of Workplace Solutions at Voya Financial. “By connecting the excitement on the field with financial education, we’re helping more young people across Greater Boston build the knowledge, skills and confidence to pursue their goals. We’re proud to celebrate this milestone alongside Boston Legacy Football Club and Junior Achievement of Greater Boston.”
Launched as part of Voya’s multiyear partnership with Boston Legacy FC, “Goals for Growth” pledged $2,000 to Junior Achievement of Greater Boston for every goal scored during the 2026 season, up to a maximum contribution of $50,000. Boston Legacy FC reached the 25-goal threshold earlier this season, unlocking the full donation amount.
The contribution will help Junior Achievement of Greater Boston expand access to programs that equip young people with essential skills in financial literacy, career readiness and entrepreneurship, helping students build confidence and prepare for their futures.
“Boston Legacy Football Club was founded with the belief that our impact should extend beyond the match,” said Amina Bulman, chief revenue officer, Boston Legacy FC. “Goals for Growth is a powerful example of what can happen when we come together with Voya around a shared purpose. We are proud that our players’ accomplishments on the field will help support the next generation throughout Boston.”
“When young people from under-resourced communities have equal access to opportunities for financial education, they gain more than knowledge; they build the confidence to make informed decisions and pursue their goals,” said Radhames Nova, president and CEO of Junior Achievement of Greater Boston. “We are grateful to Voya and Boston Legacy FC for turning the excitement of this season into meaningful opportunities for students across Greater Boston. This generous support will help us provide young people with the skills and experiences they need to succeed in school, work and life.”
The recent Fan Appreciation Night celebration also featured Junior Achievement of Greater Boston students, families and community representatives, highlighting the shared commitment among Voya, Boston Legacy FC and Junior Achievement of Greater Boston to create opportunities for young people and strengthen communities.
The “Goals for Growth” program is one example of how Voya and Boston Legacy FC are working together to create lasting impact both on and off the field. Beyond the club’s on-field success, the partnership focuses on advancing financial confidence, supporting youth development and expanding community engagement across Greater Boston.
